Why our DigestKare?

The digestive tract goes through a huge amount of processing. The food and drink that we eat enters the mouth and it is from this moment till excretion that the body is processing all of the items we ingest. We have saliva within the mouth which have enzymatic juices which start the process of digestion. This is continued further through the oesophagus, into the stomach, small and large intestine. When we have an abundance of acid or an acid imbalance and not enough alkaline foods and drink, the body can be disrupted and this is when we can experience acid reflux, bloating, pain, nausea and a whole host of complaints.


Our Formula and its benefits


Fenugreek seeds have been studied for their amazing benefits within the stomach. They protect the stomach from acid reflux and stomach infections which are brought on by bacteria. Fenugreek produces a gel like substance which has significant protective effects against these conditions. 

On the plus side, too little acid is harmful as we need stomach acid to kill harmful bacteria from foods, and low gastric acid can leave the body open to many diseases and health complaints.

Fenugreek also has lots of fibre and its ability to slow down the absorption of carbohydrates and sugar is an added benefit as these foods also contribute to acid reflux/ digestive disorders.


We have used 400mg of Shiitake Mushrooms in our blend. Shiitake Mushrooms contain large amounts of fibre per gram which helps to flush out the digestive system, ridding it of most toxins, this in turn helps relieve constipation. The mushroom also contains all eight essential amino acids and linoleic acid which is essential for improving the digestive tract.


Cinnamon is great for the gut, not just the taste buds! When the breakdown of food continues in the digestive tract, gases are naturally produced. Whilst gases are natural and exactly what should happen, an excess is strongly linked to different types of gastrointestinal disorders. Pepsin is a main digestive enzyme and through the use of Cinnamon it can help decrease stomach acid produced. Cinnamon also cools down the stomach which helps the overall health of the stomach. Cinnamon in its own right has anti-inflammatory antioxidant properties all contributing to a healthier supported digestive tract.


Ginger is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties, in addition Ginger is great for gastrointestinal disorders. The anti-inflammatory properties help with inflammation caused by low stomach acid. 


Black pepper is known for its ability to flavour food; however, it has a much greater profile. Black pepper can not only speed up the metabolism which is great as a contributing factor to weight loss, but it also eases digestion and has a stimulating effect on the stomach enzymes effecting the proteins in food. In addition, black pepper is a good tonic for getting rid of toxins and helps relive gas and bloating.

All orders will be dispatched within 48 hrs of cleared payment excluding orders placed over the weekend. These orders will be dispatched first thing Monday. If for any reason there is a delay with your order you will be contacted straight away.

How long will my order take to be delivered

All deliveries will take a maximum of 3 to 5 working days but on most occassions we will try our best to get your order there much sooner where most of our deliveries are actually received the following working day however on busier periods may take up to the 3 working day.

To ensure all deliveries run smoothly and no extra charges occur for a missed delivery if you have not received your parcel within 7 days of ordering please call us so we can work together to ensure your parcel isn’t returned to us.

We use various carriers for shipping, these include- Royal Mail, Myhermes, UK Mail, DPD & UPS.

We offer free delivery on all orders above £75 otherwise there is a set charge of £3.95 per order.

I have received a damaged item, what shall I do?

We want all of our customers to receive top quality goods so if you think there is a fault with an item you have received, please let us know as soon as you can by contacting Customer Services.

In some circumstances we may require an image of the damaged item in order for us to send a replacement or refund. Please do not dispose of the item before you are advised to do so by Customer Services.


I have received an incorrect item, what shall I do?

If you have received an incorrect item in your order, please let Customer Services know as soon as you can. Please provide Customer Services with the full description and the barcode of the incorrect item you have received.


I have an item missing from my delivery, what shall I do?

If you have received a short delivery, please contact Customer Services as soon as you can.

We may require an image of the packing you received your order in to help with our investigation.

Please be advised we need to be notified of any discrepancies within 48 hours of delivery.
